The concert series White Light is a spectacular and memorable show, a series of intense and energising performances by Marco Borsato and his Band. White Light is a triptych by the greatest Dutch pop artist ever, Marco Borsato. The album that appeared in September 2008 as well as the concert series and the thrilling movie starring Marco Borsato (released in December 2008) were all given the title White Light. The stage and the curved catwalk were a technical tour de force, incorporating more than 180,000 LEDs. The graphics for the video screens that were designed especially for this show were exceptional. To enhance the DVD, these and new graphics were integrated into the video. Further, two slow motion cameras were employed, adding a special element to the recording.
The eight shows in the Gelredome Stadium in Arnhem were attended by more than 280,000 people. In March 2009 the impressive show will be repeated nine times in the Sportpaleis in Antwerp. All in all the spectacular show will draw over 400,000 people. The album, the DVD as well as the film have been a gigantic success in the Netherlands, going platinum and gold respectively.
