Because of the unique ‘in the round’ setting of the concert RENE FROGER, LIVE AT THE ARENA many cameras grips were used for the DVD and TV recording.
To deal with the round main stage a wireless dolly was developed, which was the prototype for the now widely used wireless sam dolly.
Along the 2 long catwalks (on both sides of the main stage) a camera was fixed onto a junior dolly that could move over
125-metre long rails.
A wireless steadicam was used for shots on the stage, the catwalks and other positions within the stadium.
For spectacular top shots a camera was fixed to a wireless, remote controlled, balloon.
