Previous and during the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games I stayed in Sochi, Russia. During this period I produced the local training facilities for the Dutch female bobsleigh team. The Dutch Olympic Committee requested a running track and a weight room at the Russian Olympic Committee. I arranged both facilities at a sport and hotel complex in the district Adler, Sochi. At this complex Russian National teams have been training throughout the year. There was also a brand new appartement for the team at the complex available.

Other European bobsleigh had to leave Russia to continue their training. The Dutch female bobsleigh team finished fourth at the Olympics eventually. They became the best European female bobsleigh contestant. They beat renowned bobsleigh countries such as Germany. An unique performance by the Dutch team.
